American style spareribs

Ingredients

2 kg spareribs
250 gr tomato ketchup
150 gr honey
2 tbsp oil
125 ml pineapple juice
2 crushed cloves of garlic
1 tbsp dried herbs

Method

1 wash and dry the ribs then separate them into portions
2 mix the ketchup with the honey oil and pineapple juice and add the crushed garlic mix well
3 place the ribs into the marinade and leave for 1 hour or overnight.
4 barbecue the ribs for 35 to 45 minutes turning them and basting frequently

Variation: - add chillies and tomatoes instead of the ketchup and honey to make a mexican style sparerib
