Fiery Chilli Dip
Ingredients
125g onions
2 cloves of garlic chopped
2 chillis
3 tbsp oil
4 tbsp brandy vinegar
25g sugar
1 tsp salt
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp tomato puree
250g cream cheese
40g mustard powder
Method
1 peel and dice the onions and the garlic, then cut the chilli into fine strips.
2 heat the oil and glaze the onions add the garlic and chilli and fry for a few minutes
3 add the vinegar, the sugar,the salt and the bay leaves and leave to simmer for for about 20 minutes with the pan covered
4 remove the bay leaves, add the mustard powder and the tomato puree fold in carefully and leave to cool, once cool stir in the cream cheese and serve
