Turkish Lamb Skewers
Ingredients
500gr lamb mince
2 cloves of garlic
1 onion
1 red pepper
1 bread roll
1 egg
1 pinch paprika
1 pinch chilli powder
2 cups of yoghurt
1 tbsp chopped mixed herbs
Method
1 peel the cloves of garlic and the onion, then chop coarsely
2 cut the pepper in half and deseed then cook it in the oven for about 15 minutes skin side up once cooked let it coll thenremove the skin. At the same time make the roll into breadcrumbs
3 crush 1 clove of garlic then mix the mince the crushed garlic, onion red pepper and the breadcrumbs together along with the spices and the egg to bind the mixture together
4 shape into about 8 rolls put them onto skewers and cook for about 12 minutes turning to prevent burning
5 make the sauce crush the remaining garlic clove and mix it with the yogurt and the herbs then serve with the skewers
